Where we ship

We ship to every address in the United States that USPS delivers to, including Hawaiʻi, Alaska, US territories and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. We don’t ship internationally at this time, and we don’t offer local pickup.

Where we ship from

Every order ships from Pāhoa, Hawaiʻi.

Carrier

We ship with USPS Priority Mail, with tracking. You’ll get a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your parcel is on its way.

Processing time

Orders ship within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding US federal and Hawaiʻi state holidays). During holidays and new batch releases, processing may take a little longer; we’ll note this on the store.

Pre-orders

When a batch sells out, we may open pre-orders for the next one. The next batch is usually expected in about 2–4 weeks; the product page, your cart and your order confirmation show the current estimate (“ships” means handed to USPS). Your card is charged when your parcel ships. If the batch runs late, we’ll email you with a new estimate and the choice to cancel at no cost. Pre-orders and in-stock blocks in the same order ship together when the pre-order ships.

Delivery time

USPS Priority Mail from Hawaiʻi usually takes 3–5 business days after dispatch. This is the carrier’s estimate, not a guarantee; weather, holidays and inter-island or mainland flights can cause delays.

Shipping cost

Shipping is a flat $9 per order, whatever the number of blocks. It is shown at checkout before you pay.

Address accuracy

Please check your shipping address at checkout. If you notice a mistake, write to us right away through our contact page; we can correct it if the parcel hasn’t left. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we’ll reship it once you’ve paid the new shipping cost.

Heat

Cacao softens in warm weather and may show a pale bloom after a hot journey. This is cosmetic and doesn’t affect quality. Let the block rest somewhere cool and it will firm up again.

Lost or damaged parcels

See our Refund Policy. In short: tell us within 14 days of delivery, and we’ll replace or refund.

Taxes

Any applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.
